2 simple recipes to try out

With what's happening around the world today we all need to stay alive and one way to do that is to eat, but for some of us that's a problem either cause we don't have the money, have ran out of recipes to cook , just want to have something new cause your are tired of your regular meals or recipes or you can't cook more than the normal Nigerian food (soup and stews) lol

Well its not actually a crime to break out of your comfort zones and prepare something new for you or ur family to eat.

 Garri chips

  I know that the name alone is sounding strange in your mind, you must be think how its going to be possible or how its going to taste. Well you are not alone on that table cause that was exactly how I felt when I first heard it but there's no harm in trying right?

  For this you would need the following ingredients

Garri(1cup)/cassava flour/corn flour

Oil(for frying)

Milk(it can be powdered or liquid)

Pepper(½ teaspoon)

Sugar(as it suits your taste buds)

Salt( just a pinch)

Egg 1

Procedure

-Mix all your dry ingredients together and set aside

-Put water on fire and bring to a boil

-Break your egg into a plate and whisk

-Make your garri as you normally would allow to cool and then make an incision in the middle of your garri.

-Add your liquid ingredients (milk and egg)

-Place oil in a fry pan on fire on low heat(but not to low so it doesn't soak up oil) and fry till golden brown.

Easy banana ice cream

  A lot of eaterys are closed cause of what's happening in the world. So I bring to you a very easy banana ice cream recipe for all ice cream lovers. You would need

-Banana(overripe)

-Fridge ( it can't be ice cream without a fridge lol)

-Milk (can be powdered or liquid)

Procedure

-Peel and cut up your banana into pieces and refrigerate for at least 8hours.

-When frozen place in a good processor/blender add your milk and blend till creamy

-Put in the freezer and when frozen u have your homemade banana ice cream.
