Breaking: Evang. Chinedu Obigwe on *Part two (2) of Re - Anambra lacks quality governance - PDP Governorship Aspirant, Ozigbo.*


The above news report that necessitated my reaction against Val Ozigbo is a fake news.

 I personally confirmed from  Val Ozigbo when he called me that he did not make any bad remarks against Governor Obiano's administration.

 He said that he was quoted out of context by journalists and I believe him.

I must confess that his approach melted my heart and having confirmed from him that he did not make bad remarks against my political idol, His Excellency Chief Dr Willie Obiano, I humbly withdraw the things I said against him.

 In my interaction with him, I told him that Governor Obiano is my political idol and that I don't have anything personal against any opposition party Governorship aspirant but that I cannot stomach  the insult and attack the followers of the opposition party leaders are hauling on the Governor and that am always ready to return any unprovoked attack against the Governor to the pay masters of those behind the attack.

I had a fruitful discussion with him.

 Approach matters in everything and as a human, I must confess that Val Ozigbo appeased my conscience with his peaceful approach.

 As it stands today, Val Ozigbo did not say anything against Governor Obiano's administration and he is pursuing his governorship ambition in a decent manner.

 He also told me that he personally cautioned his media aides not to attack or blackmail the Governor.

I commend him for his peaceful and decent approach.

Like I said before, I swallow all that I said against him on the condition that after party primaries, if he emerge PDP candidate, I will fight alongside APGA governorship candidate to defeat him in the main election.

 Other opposition party Governorship aspirants should learn how to approach issues from Val Ozigbo.

Breaking! Nigerian troops rescue 241 women and children from Boko Haram captivity (photos)

Troops attached to Sector 1 of Operation LAFIYA DOLE have rescued 241 kidnapped victims from Boko Haram captivity in Mudu village in Borno state. A statement released by the Defence headquarters today May 28, says the kidnapped victims were rescued during an operation on May 23. The rescued victims comprises of 105 women and 136 children. The statement adds that Twelve (12) Boko Haram terrorists were killed during the operation. In a related development, troops of 151 Battalion on May 24 killed three more sect members during a crossfire in Firgi area in the state.  In the same vein, troops of the 155 Battalion Banki Junction carried out exploitation operation towards Sambisa forest in pursuit of fleeing BHTs.
