*The 1year suspension slammed on igwe Peter Uyanwa of Ukwulu community by Anambra state government is a good decision and a good step in the right direction.*

I will first of all commend Anambra State government for wielding the big stick against igwe Peter Uyanwa of Ukwulu.

No Governor will tolerate igwe Uyanwa unruly behaviour that was fuelled by his longer throat for money.

Those reading political meaning to his suspension are being foolishly  mischievous.

A Traditional ruler is supposed to be somebody with an impeccable character and not somebody that lacks character.

igwe Peter Uyanwa truly overstepped his boundary and brought his current predicament upon himself.

Governor Obiano of all people is a jolly good fellow and not a trouble maker but mischievous elements are taking his peaceful disposition for granted and that is not good.

The office of the Executive Governor is supposed to be accorded a well deserved respect and not to be disrespected.

One thing people don't know is  that lots of report comes to the table of the Governor.

No government since the history of Anambra State gave Traditional rulers the privilege and protection Governor Obiano is giving to our Traditional rulers.

When we talk about Governor Obiano, we are talking about a Governor that vowed on assumption of office that no Traditional will be humiliated with Police arrest under his watch.

It's a promise he made to our Traditional rulers and he is fulfilling that promise.

He is so free with them and made himself accessible to all of them.

For this reason, it's expected that our Traditional rulers will be well behaved and not to allow themselves to be manipulated by politicians against the Governor.

The suspended igwe Ukwulu shot himself on the foot and should blame himself for his predicament.

Politicians succeeded in clothing him with shame and that serves him right.

As it stands today, he is a suspended Traditional ruler of Ukwulu community and lacks the constitutional locus standi to parade himself as igwe for the next 1 year.

This is an appropriate disciplinary measure for him but I will still add that Governor Obiano is even lenient to be talking of suspension because what many expected him to do is an outright removal of the political igwe.

Nobody should tell me that a Traditional ruler is right for calling a rebellion meeting at his palace and politicians at the meeting took turns to be insulting the Governor without any justifiable reason.

igwe Peter Uyanwa is a double edged sword and an unreliable character.

He is truly the newest Judas iscariot of Anambra State that can do anything because of money.

He is controlled by his stomach and not his brain.

Junketing from Ukwulu to Ukpo will not help him because within this period of 1year that he will is on suspension, the State government will be monitoring his conduct in public and the way he conduct himself will determine the next step government will take on his matter.

It's now left for him to decide to call himself to order or to join full time partisan politics but whatever decision and steps he takes will determine government next line of action.

Politicising the issue of igwe Peter Uyanwa suspension will not yield any fruitful results for the disgruntled opposition elements that have been using igwe Peter Uyanwa as an evil tool for sowing seed of disharmony and discord between the Governor and the Traditional rulers.

To God be the glory that majority of his colleague Traditional rulers are on the side of Governor Obiano.

igwe Peter Uyanwa of Ukwulu erred without thinking twice and deserves his 1year suspension punishment.

 Daalu nu.
