Igwe Nwankwo of Nawfia is morally bankrupt to accuse Governor Obiano of gagging Traditional rulers.

One thing I have realized in life is that dishonorable characters are shameless and igwe Nwankwo is among the dishonorable characters that are shameless.

If he has any shame, he will keep his mouth permanently shut and refrain from levelling unfounded allegation against Governor Obiano.

The fact remains that Governor Obiano as a silent operator will be the last person to gag Anambra Traditional rulers.

 It's not in his nature and he has demonstrated it with the way he handles the opposition party members armchair criticism of his administration.

The only problem people like me and many others that are Governor Obiano diehard fans has with the opposition is that they are engaging in armchair criticism and blackmail in the name of constructive criticism and that is why I personally decided to launch operation fire for fire against them.

 As for igwe Nwankwo and his cooked up allegation, I will say that my prayer is for what he termed gagging of Traditional rulers to be true because a traditional ruler is supposed to be in his domain and not to go to Abuja to be engaging in irrelevant things when all is not well in his community.

 Telling Traditional rulers to notify the State government before travelling out of their community is not a bad thing and not supposed to raise dust.

 My reason for saying this is because Traditional rulers are not just the custodians of their community traditions, they are also the Chief Security Officers of their community and in that regards, the State government is supposed to know their whereabouts for security reasons 

 I will humbly state without mincing words that there is actually a need for our Traditional rulers to notify the State government before travelling out of their community and I pray that if such arrangement is not in place that Governor Obiano  will consider putting it in place.

 Having said that, I want to add that igwe Nwankwo talked out of accumulated  burning anger in the above referred press release because Governor Obiano moved swiftly to nip his evil plan and that of igwe Ukwulu in the bud.

 I remember having a one on one interview session with igwe Nwankwo years back and I also remember that he told me that time that he is not happy with Governor Obiano.

 The reason for his grievances is that he claimed that Governor Obiano denied him the opportunity of being the Chairman of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council when Obi of Onitsha resigned from that position by bringing back Obi of Onitsha to continue leading Traditional rulers in the State.

With what is happening, it's now crystal clear that God used Governor Obiano to prevail on Obi of Onitsha to continue as the Chairman of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council because had it been that a dishonorable character like igwe Nwankwo of Nawfia succeeded him as Chairman, the worst would have happened.

 Thank God that Obi of Onitsha is still the Chairman of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council.

Characters that cannot access the Presidency like igwe Nwankwo are jumping up and down for the mere reason that a promise of taking them for a Courtesy visit to the President was made to them by Arthur Eze.

 Let's recall that during the 2017 electioneering campaign, Our highly revered Obi of Onitsha did something that deserves an award.

The thing he did is that when President Buhari visited Anambra for APC grand finale campaign, he was enlisted as the Traditional ruler that will come to welcome Buhari in Awka and he turned down the offer with cogent reasons.

He told the APC governorship campaign committee as at that time that the practice is that when a President visits any northern State that he will go and  pay homage to the Emir of that State and that such respect should be accorded to him.

If it were to be the likes of igwe Nwankwo of Nawfia and igwe Peter Uyanwa of Ukwulu, they will even dash the campaign organisers cow for making it possible for them to have a handshake with the President.

What am saying in essence is that Obi of Onitsha has made ndi Anambra proud through his conduct as Chairman of Anambra State Traditional rulers Council and he is the only person that has the mandate of the whole Traditional rulers in Anambra State to speak on their behalf.

So as long as the allegation of gagging Traditional rulers is coming from igwe Nwankwo and not Obi of Onitsha, the general public should disregard it as a concocted tissue of lies that can only fly in the figment of igwe Nwankwo imagination and that of his cohorts.
