Troops attached to Sector 1 of Operation LAFIYA DOLE have rescued 241 kidnapped victims from Boko Haram captivity in Mudu village in Borno state. A statement released by the Defence headquarters today May 28, says the kidnapped victims were rescued during an operation on May 23. The rescued victims comprises of 105 women and 136 children. The statement adds that Twelve (12) Boko Haram terrorists were killed during the operation. In a related development, troops of 151 Battalion on May 24 killed three more sect members during a crossfire in Firgi area in the state.  In the same vein, troops of the 155 Battalion Banki Junction carried out exploitation operation towards Sambisa forest in pursuit of fleeing BHTs. The dogged efforts of the troops yielded uncommon success as two (2) terrorists dead bodies, heavy cache of assorted arms, ammunition and other equipment were recovered. BREAKING: Lagos discharges seven coronavirus patients Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos providing update on coronavirus The Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of seven coronavirus patients in the state after they tested negative twice to the virus. This takes the total number of persons discharged to 51 in Nigeria. I read a letter being circulated on the internet by the idiotic and lunatic followers of accidental Senator ifeanyi Ubah insinuating that our beloved Osodieme is behind my fire for fire battle with them. The content of the letter from the beginning to the end is laughable. Chasing of shadows and looking for whom to blame will not yield any fruitful result for accidental Senator ifeanyi Ubah because he is the architect of everything that is happening. I will advice him to stop dwelling onn deceit and do the needful of chaining his numerous mad dog because failure to do that he will be getting his own well deserved dose of what his mad dogs are doing against Governor Obiano and Osodieme from me.
